Badrinath and Kedarnath Ex-Delhi

Day 01: Delhi – Haridwar (205kms / 5 Hrs)
Arrival Delhi by Train / Flight & proceed to Haridwar by Travel with RV company representative. Upon arrival in Haridwar check into hotel and further you can proceed for Ganga Aarti at Hari Ki Pouri at your own cost, if time permit. 

Hari ki Pouri: is central point of Haridwar and several local transport facilities are available to explore the local Haridwar and Edge of Ganges. Overnight Stay at Haridwar.

Day 02:  Haridwar – Guptkashi (225 kms / 09 hrs drive)
After breakfast, check out the hotel and proceed to Guptkashi (It’s situated at a distance of 47 km from the holy shrine, Kedarnath) The town holds immense religious importance as it houses famous ancient temples like Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. Have your dinner and stay overnight in the hotel/camp.

Day 03: Guptkashi - Kedarnath (30 kms /02 hrs drive & 19 kms Trekking)
Early in the morning you will drive till Sonprayag (vehicles allow till this point) from here you need to take a local jeep / Max to reach Gaurikund (3 Kms, on direct payment basis). Upon arrival in Gaurikund, you will start your Trek towards Kedarnath Temple, which is a long and beautiful man-made trail. After reaching, performing Pooja and Darshan of Shri Kedarnath Temple. Later check into the Hotel/Camp which is a basic accommodation with limited facility due to high altitude. Dinner & overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Shri Kedarnath- is a majestic sight, standing in the middle of a wide plateau surrounded by lofty snow Covered peaks. The temple of Kedarnath, located at a height of 3,581 mts, stand at the head of the Mandakini River. The present temple, built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decorated with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. It is said that devotees who die here become one with Shiva himself.

Day 04: Kedarnath - Guptkashi (19 kms Trekking & 30 kms / 02 hrs drive by road)
Early morning trek down to Gaurikund. On arrival in Gaurikund from here you need to take a local jeep/ Max to reach Sonprayag (3 kms, on direct payment basis). Later drive to Guptkashi. Upon arrival at Guptkashi, check-in at the hotel.  Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 05: Guptkashi - Chopta - Badrinath (210 Kms / 7-8 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from hotel and drive to Badrinath via Chopta. Chopta known as Mini Switzerland of Uttarakhand surrounded by meadows and evergreen forest with the spectacular views of mighty Himalayan ranges. Upon arrival at Badrinath, check-in at hotel. Afternoon at leisure.  Evening visit at Shri Badrinath Temple Aarti [If time permits]

Shri Badrinath Temple - It's so great to take in the way that this sacrosanct destination which is being dedicated to Lord Vishnu has been committed to humankind. The area where Lord Vishnu pondered under a Badri tree for thousand unremitting years and taught us a definitive method for welfare of humankind is exceptional on the planet. Today, this temple is considered as one of the holiest Hindu temples.

Day 06: Badrinath – Rudraprayag (160 Kms / 6 Hrs.)
Morning after bath in the Taptkund visit to Shri Badrinath Temple, Brahma Kamal is significant for Pind Dan Shradh of ancestors (Pitru). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Vyas Gufa, Mata Murti Temple, Bhim Kund and the "Mukh'' of the Saraswati River. Just within the three Kms of Badrinath Ji.
After the sightseeing tour, drive towards Rudraprayag. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at Rudraprayag. 

Day 07: Rudraprayag – Rishikesh -  Haridwar (165 Kms / approx. 6 hrs.) 
After breakfast, drive to Haridwar via Rishikesh local sightseeing like Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, Triveni Ghat temples and Ashrams. Continues drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival in Haridwar transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 08: Haridwar – Delhi Drop (205 Kms /5 hrs.) 
After breakfast, check-out from hotel & drive to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi transfer to Airport / Railway Station for your onwards journey.
