Day
01: Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel
It is a
panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day - The views of snow -
capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a
whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long
time - Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport will lead to the
hotel directly where our representative will be there to welcome the
guest - (For larger group our representative will accompany
the guest to the destination) - A representative and driver from our
office will meet our guest at the airport and assist and escort them to
hotel or resort - The representative will assist guest to
check into the designated hotel - At the hotel you will be briefed about
your daily activities – Spend the day visiting the local area – Night stay at
hotel in Kathmandu.
Day
02: Kathmandu local sightseeing
Early
morning breakfast – Guest start the sightseeing tour in few major places
in Kathmandu - Swayambhunath, Boudhanath, Kathmandu durbar square and
Pashupatinath. Swayambhunath nearly 2500-year old site believed
that the Radiant Lotus of the valley settled when the water was drained by
Manjushree, the god of Wisdom - (Non-Hindus are not allowed inside
Swayambhunath temple) Swayambhunath, a must-see
tourist attraction in Kathmandu is located in the heart of the city, on a top
of a hill and it is a glorious ancient religious architecture. It is a holy
place for both Hindu and Buddhists. The complex is comprised of main stupa,
temples, many shrines and surrounded by lots of trees. You can find the eyes
and eyebrows of Budhha in the local painting style. Visit Boudhanath
Stupa the world’s largest stupa of Tibetan Buddhist Culture.
Boudhanath Stupa is situated around 11 kilometers from the city center of
Kathmandu and is of gigantic spherical shape. It is one of the major tourist
attractions of Kathmandu. It is a common belief that the people who used to
circumambulate the stupa with no ill thoughts in their hearts receive good
karma. In 1979, this Boudha Stupa was declared as the UNESCO World
Heritage Site. The colorful flags around the stupa enhance the beauty of the
stupa. You can also do some local authentic items shopping from here at a very
bargain price. visit to Kathmandu durbar square, Patan Darbar Square is located at the Lalitpur City, around 25 km from
Kathmandu. The main attraction of this place, where Malla King of Lalitpur
resided. It is also the UNESCO World
Heritage Site. This Patan Darbar Square is a perfect example of Newar
architecture. The complex comprises of several temples and idols and houses
with the Newar Architecture around the places. Visit Pashupati Nath
- the holiest shrines for Hindus, It is the holiest Temple for Hindus dedicated
to lord Shiva, is also a site for Hindu cremation. The Pashupatinath Temple, in
Kathmandu, is the most famous and holy temple for Hindus in Nepal and a must
visit place during Nepal Tour from India. Located on the bank
of Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu Valley, this is the home of
Lord Pashupatinath - Lord Shiva. The Pashupatinath temple complex declared as
the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979. Evening free to stroll around
the local bazaars. Night stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

03: Kathmandu – Manakamana Temple – Pokhara
Early Morning Breakfast - Drive
07 hours and approximately 200 kilometres west of Kathmandu
- Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal located west of
Kathmandu - The altitude varies from 827 meters in the southern part to 1740
meters in the north - Annapurna Range with three out of the ten highest
mountains in the world — Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I and Manaslu — are within
approximately 15 – 35 miles as-the-crow-flies distance from the valley - Due to
its proximity to the Annapurna mountain range, the city is also a base for
trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Circuit. En-route
visit - Manakamana Temple Manakamana Temple is highly respected sacred Hindu Goddess Bhagawati.
Temple is 140 kilometer from Kathmandu and on the way to Pokhara. The meaning
of Manakamana is wished fulfill. So Manakamana is believed goddess Bhagabati
reward pilgrimages who reach there are granting their wishes. Temple situated
1302 miters altitude overlooks the river valleys of Trishuli in the south and
Marshyangdi in the west. The panaromic views of Manaslu, Himchuli, Annapurna

04: Pokhara local sightseeing
Sightseeing
will be as per the Itinerary and all the places in one day is not possible
hence few of the sites are taken into the Itinerary - The sightseeing places
are Sarangkot height for the Sunrise and Mountain view - where you can
the Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Annapurna I
and III, Fishtail, Gangapurna,Lamjung Himal,
Manaslu and many more other small peaks. Sarangkot - Sarangkot
is a place from where mind blowing views of sunrise and sunset over the
mountains can be seen. One of the famous Peace Pagoda is another
attraction nearby sarangkot, lies on the top of the opposite hill. Sarangkot is
the viewpoint of Pokhara valley from where one can enjoy paragliding and zip
flyer.
After completing the photo shot at
Sarangkot, we drive back to hotel for our breakfast. After Breakfast, we have
half day sightseeing around the Pokhara valley - Seti Gorge, Bindya Basini
Temple, Devids falls and Gupteshwor cave, Fewa Lake & Barahi temple etc.
Seti Gorge - Seti
River is famous for its deceptive river course and its milky white water. The
water cuts a deep gorge right across the mighty Mahabharata range and then runs
a deep chasm in the middle of the town. The gorge can be seen from a park in
the Old pokhara close to the Gorkha Museum. Bindyabasini Temple
- The temple of Bindhyabasini is the oldest in the city
of Pokhara, Nepal and is situated in Ward No. 2, Miruwa. It
regularly attracts many local Nepalese from across the region, as well as
foreigners.The principal temple is devoted to goddess Bindhyabasini, a
Bhagawati who is believed to be Goddess Kali's incarnation. Smaller temples are
within the temple premises which are dedicated to
Goddess Saraswati,Shiva,. Hanuman, and Ganesha. Devids falls
- David's falls is an amazing waterfall
in Pokhara Valley which is nearly 500 feet long and runs 100 feet below ground
level. It is also known as Patale Chhango which means the underwater world.
According to local old people, on 31st July 1961, a swiss couple Davi went
swimming but the woman drowned in a pit. Since that day the place is known as
David's falls. Gupteshwor Cave
- Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is one of the
longest caves in Nepal is nearly 3km long. There are some walls dripping water
inside the cave and about 40m in, we can see the statue of Lord Shiva.
Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is near David's falls. Fewa Lake - Phewa
Lake, Phewa Tal or Fewa Lake is a freshwater lake in Nepal and it is the
biggest lake in the Pokhara. The lake is also famous for the reflection of
mount Machhapuchhre and other mountain peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri
ranges on its surface. Barahi Temple - located in the middle of Fewa
Lake - It takes less than 10 minute to reach there by boat, Tal Barahi temple
also known as ‘Lake Temple’ or ‘Barahi Temple’ is a Hindu temple of the goddess
Barahi. It is the most important religious monument in Pokhara, Nepal. This
temple is located on a small island in the middle of Phewa Lake. After visit
back to hotel. Night stay at Pokhara
Day
05: Pokhara - Nagarkot
Nearly 200
kilometres – 8 hours’ drive – Reach Nagarkot via Kathmandu Nagarkot is
famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other
snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal – Nagarkot is
known for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya - A night at
Nagarkot is necessary to view the rising sun and Mount Everest as
well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal
- It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati river valley to the
east – It has an elevation of 2195 meters is a place whose beauty endures year
round – November to March one can view better - Check into hotel –
If lucky i.e. guest reaches before sunset one can watch the sunset also – Night
stay at Nagarkot.
Day
06: Nagarkot - Kathmandu - Departure
Early
Morning watch sunrise – Witness sunrise at Nagarkot - Scenic view
from Dhaulagiri in the west, to Kanchenjunga in the east small village seat at
about 7500 Feet altitude - On a fine day one can even see the tip of the
Everest from here - Next drive nearly 35 kilometres to Kathmandu Airport -
Depending upon the flight timings one can visit Thamel or some of the places of
interest on the way or any other places on the way to Kathmandu airport –
Forwarding journey.
