Manas park is one among the foremost beautiful National Parks in India for its pristine wild habitat. Manas park Wildlife tour is an offbeat trip in Assam. The park derives its name from the river Manas which is emerging from the royal kingdom of Bhutan and is known as after the serpent Goddess Manasa. Located within the foothills of Himalayas, Manas park obtained the status of a UNESCO wildlife Heritage Site in 1985. it's a delegated Tiger Reserve, Elephant Reserve and a Biosphere Reserve of the state of Assam. The Manas Wildlife Sanctuary provides habitat for 22 of India’s most species of mammals.
Day 01: Guwahati – Manas
Arrive in Guwahati and a couple of hours’ drive will take you to the biosphere park Manas by the banks of the river Manas. As you arrive, check-in to the comforts of your hotel and spend remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel in Manas.
Day 02: Manas
Have an early breakfast and start a jeep safari as you're driven to the foremost beautiful point of Manas Park - Mathanguri. it's one among the foremost scenic spots within the entire park together can hear the roar of the gushing river Manas against the backdrop of the Bhutanese hills. it's an excellent place to identify many animal and bird species. Return to the hotel by afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Manas - Guwahati drop
Today post breakfast pack your bags as you'll be getting transferred to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onwards journey.
